Probe Correction

Message par iz1kbp »

Hi Antoine, sorry for troubble but I don't understand wath's mean the above in obj.
I've seen that GW readout double value of rainfall than the station read out.
esample : 2.2 mm/h read on Ws station and about 4.4 read on 1h rainfall.(read a the same moment)
Do I correct the probe to obtain the same value?
I've tryed to correct with 0.5 (point) or 0,5(comma) but I haven't seen any variation on GW readout.
I've read the other post in forum but however I don't understand the method (sorry for ignorance
Is it a realtime correction or I must wait for a little time?wath is the right factor?

Ma be this problem bind with my readout rainfall error?

Thank's in advance for any answers you want and can!!

Is it possible that you have put a factor 2 in probe correction before ? It could be explain your previous post.

So, go to Setup > Probes > Probes, and click on default filter, default correction buttons. Check if errors have disappeared.

HI antoine,
Yes,I've got RESET all probe setting and filter...but nothing has changed.
Now all probe setup/filter are blanck, default setting.
Question : is the correction probe active only on the next data acquired or is it active on ALL data (past and next) ?
measure correct = AAA x Measure BBB wath's mean AAA and BBB ?
Wath kind of data for AAA and BBB must I insert to obtain (MYDATA FROM HISTORY)/2 ?

Thank's again and sorry for troubble.

Hi,

The calibrations/filters are applied to the data read on history, so for all data.
AAA and BBB are calibrations factors. You need AAA=0.5 to divide by 2 your actual data.
