Rainfall graph errors...

Message par Jim_AFCB »

Hello

Have recently started using GraphWeather.

I am slowly working out how to use it, though I don't really know how to write in XML.

I am using Weatherlink with my Vantage Pro 2, and have been since 1996, so I have all the data going back to then!

Quick question - using the supplied templates, and I have tried using the tab_rainfall one for periods of a week or a month.
For a day period, the graph matches the data from the archives OK, but for a week or a month, the data appears to be shown wrong.
Jul 2012.jpg
Look at the relative rainfall - (in 5 minute periods, my archive interval) - looks to be wrong - looks more than it should be especially if you compare the statistics maximum of 1.6mm with the scale on the left but the blue shading often exceeds this...

What is the difference between "relative_rainfall" and "absolute_rainfall"?

Is there a way of showing rainfall in bar graph form for periods other than a whole year?

Is there a text file somewhere with all the tags etc in one place? I know it's on the forum somewhere....

Thanks for that - I knew where the tags were.

The tutorials will help a lot!

Do you know if one can have bars and lines on the same chart?
Also, do you know the difference between absolute_rainfall and relative_rainfall? I have a feeling that relative_rainfall is not actually the rain that fell in each archive period (in my case 5 minutes) but during a period that depends on the time range on the graph?
