GW Rev 2.9.265b > Problem with *.WLK from VP2

Hi Antoine,
I've got a problem when I try to open the WLK file from VP2.GW return the error "The source is not compatible with plug in".
The same WLK file is opened from Weather Link and other log program without probem.
I've try with anoteher WLk file generated form WS2 webserver for VP2 station and GW return the same error.
The same WLK is opened with out problem by WL.
I've de-select "Ignore Error" from plugin option with out result.
I've attached my actual WLK file.


Any suggest is welcome!

I have a VP2, and I use the VantagePro.dll plugin with WLK files without any problem since 9 months.

I don't see your attachement.
My guess is the WLK is a new version of WLK format.

The problem is one file have a format version 5.0, GW read only format version 5.3 to 5.6.
Did you change your VP software?

Hi Antoine...no, I can't change the software.
These file was created by WS-2 Web server dedicated to VP2 station.
WL and other software read it...only GW do not read.
Can You upgrade or any similar action...your software? or have you any suggest action?

IT work fine!!
Is there any particular difference vs the original revision?
Ony one question again: is possible set the file path to a WEB address (ftp://ftp.test.altervista.org/test/*.* where I save my wlk file from ws2 webserver) instead of a local address (c:/..../*.*) ?
I've this WEB folder in my Pc (lan or web resource) but in GW I'm not able to select it.

I have modified the plugin to accpet the version 5.X of WLK format. I hope the file structure is the same...seems to work.

GW can't use the FTP, but it's not a good idea to use such remote folder, the transfer will be definitely too long.
