Solar radiation and Source file

Message par wslangerak »

Hello!

I use GW for some time now and almost everything goes well. I only have one problem I cannot solve.

I use Weather-Display, data source files are the logfiles like 22009lg.txt. This works perfect. But the solar radiation is not in those logfiles. It can be found in files like 22009vantagelog.txt. So what I did was activating optional data source 1 and made the settings to get data from this file (CSV.dll, solar radiation opt1 = 6). But this does not work, no solar radiation graph when using standard templates nor selfmade templates.

What can be the cause? Is it because there is already a "solar radiation" in the base plugin/source ? Ofcourse this is empty, because column 6 of the original datasource is outside temp.

I really would like to have this problem solved. Thanks in advance for your attention!

Regards,
Kees.

My thoughts reagrding your post.
Since you are using an additional data source I guess you'll have to change your templates with solar curve to something like

<solar_radiation_1 axisbind=

You need to add the number _X according to the probe in question. This tells GW what datasource to fetch the data from.
