I have a Davis VantagePro weather station and run Weather Display on a dedicated "weather laptop". I also run WD MySQL and my data is stored on a MySQL database on a separate computer. The database is called weather and the table in the database is called wx_data.
I have installed GraphWeather 1.6.1 and installed the MySQL plugin and configured it with my MySQL database details. (see attached screen snap). The problem is that I cannot find anywhere in the GraphWeather software for me to define the table (wx_data) that GraphWeather should use. As such, when I try to graph my data, no data is found.
Incidentally, I did initially install V2.0.152A, where I could see the place to specify my wx_data table, but whenever I tried to graph my data, I got an error along the lines of not being able to find moon data and the application crashed, so I gave up on this "bleeding edge" version and reverted to V1.6.1.
Please can someone try to point me in the right direction for configuring the software for use with my MySQL database?
Thanks,
Simon

The tables are to be defined in the previous panel "Graphweather options". For each plugin (base, optional 1 and 2) you have to add the table or view you are going to work with.

Re: Using GraphWeather V1.6.1 with a Weather Display MySQL Db
Jean,
Thank you for replying. I think I understand what you mean, but when you say "add a table", what table should I add? I am using WD MySQL to upload my station data to a MySQL database called weather on another computer. There is no accessible "table" because the data is stored in the database.
Perhaps you (or someone else reading this) could send a screen snap to show what you mean?
Thanks again,
Simon

I can't give you a screencap, cause I'm working with the latest cut. (Works perfect with my MySQL DB).
But if I remember right (1.6.1) you type the table name in the graphing display under 'Data source'
Databasename is given in the plugin.

Hello Simon,
as Audun told you your database is defined in the plugin options, I know that its a bit confusing to define the table before the database (as far as I remember it's on the previous screen). I neither do have release 1.6 any longer.
I just reinstalled a 1.6 to check (sorry it's in french):
The table has to be defined for each tab, or for each file export in the FTP in the datasource (depending upon the plugin it can be either a file or a table)
