Hi,
We are a team with a large number of met stations (Davis VantagePro 2).
We are using GraphWeather for some days, and we are very pleased with its graphics and its functionality.
But we have been testing the software just with one met station.
Now we have to apply the reports to all the stations on our network.
So, we have selected to run more than one instance of GraphicWeather on the program preferences.
Now we can run some instances of GraphicWeather, but the settings are the same to all instances, so we hope this is not ok for us.
Our scenerio is this:
- We are receiving with WeatherLink software every 15 minutes the latest data from our 10 stations. WeatherLink saves the .wlk files on a separated folder for every station.
- We have configured GraphWeather with vantagepro.dll plugin to auto download data from one of this folders, and to export by FTP some report graphics.
Is it possible to configure GraphWeather to take data from all the folders, and to generate separate reports for every station?
Thank you.

Hello, tdttester a écrit :Is it possible to configure GraphWeather to take data from all the folders, and to generate separate reports for every station?
Keep in mind that GW is mainly a mono-station program. Each instance of GW can handle only one WL file at a time. However, if you do not want separate statistics for each station, you can handle 3 WL files per instance ( -1 in the base plugin and 1 in each of the 2 optional plugins).
However, you may install and run separate instances to plot data from each of the VP2 stations. Each instance may have its own setting, but you have to perform multiple installs ( - 1 config file per install- this also means that you will have to make 10 installs if you have 10 VP2)
Hope this answer your concern

I'm going to try the second option... multiple installs with multiple configurations.
I'll post the results following this thread.
Thank you very much.
