Graphweather and Weatherlink

Message par MrPippoTN »

Hi! Congratulations for this amazing program.

I'm using Graphweather in my website, have a look at here: http://www.meteorovereto.it (Italy).

I've a question... I've got a Davis Vantage Pro2 and I use Weatherlink. You know, Graphweather uses "mm-yyyy.wlk" file to work but, every month, Weatherlink produces a new ".wlk" file, so I've got to manually "tell" GW that there's a new data source every first of the month's midnight. How can I make GW automatically recognize new monthly ".wlk" file?

If GW cannot do it, could anybody help me to solve this issue using a script, please?

For example...
I'm thinking about a script that copies last mm-yyyy.wlk file every minute from its original folder and paste it to another folder (that I decide), where I've already put some fake (empty) next months' .wlk files... So I can make GW point to this second folder, and I can add this fake .wlk files in GW's sources before the beginning of the new month and without messing up Weather Link.

What do you think about this trick?
